BIO: Jonathan Weber - Mindful Yoga: integrating mindfulness and self-compassion into gentle yoga
Jonathan Weber is one of Norway’s leading teachers of Mindful Yoga, with over 30 years devoted to yoga and meditation. He was instrumental in establishing Oslo’s first Mindful Yoga education program and co-therapist in Norway’s first Therapeutic Yoga Teacher Training with Maja Thune.
A longtime student of Buddhist yoga and Dzogchen, Jonathan has studied under respected lineage masters such as Lama Surya Das and Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche. Certified as a 500 EYT Mindful Yoga teacher and trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) through the IMA, he has taught mindfulness and compassion practices since 2006. Blending evidence-based techniques with Buddhist psychology, he presents Mindful Yoga as a path to peace, resilience, and well-being.
