This is a not-what-you-expect class! “This is a transformative and embodied practice of the bodyheartmind. Through a guided poetic universe we journey between perpetual movement, rest, release and free movement. With shaking, jumping, dancing, intuitive movement (some yoga sometimes too), pilates, somatics and body weight training, not to mention a kick ass carefully curated playlist, this class is designed for anyone but especially yogis and will at best deliver a cathartic release, a great workout, SWEAT and a strong, resilient body.” - by Satu Tuomela

BREATH BATH + MANTRAS (eng)

SUNDAY 12.01. 16.00-17.30

Bathe in the vibrations of your breath! This class is an exciting combination of some carefully chosen heart-opening movement & pranayama practices, visualizations and a breathwork session focusing on whole body breathing. We will work with the subtle body with an aim to ground, land, arrive, settle and empty the system so that it can be filled with an awareness that reverberates from the ripples of your sacred breath.

We will finish with some mantras you are invited to join singing!

BIO

Sanni Parkkinen is an experienced yoga teacher (E-RYT 500 hours), breathing coach and educator. Pranayama has always been her favorite modality in yoga, and breath has now for some years been the focus of her work. She is educating new breath coaches in Norway & Finland and running popular online breathing programs in Finland. Her approach to breathing is multidisciplinary and she combines knowledge and practices from the following styles: Hatha, Tantra and Vijnana Yoga, Integrative Breathing Therapy, Buteyko Method, Taoism, Somatic Experiencing, Feldenkrais and trauma therapy (among others). Sanni is also lecturing in companies and giving speeches to various audiences.
