 FAQs

  • You can pre-book 2 classes per day when buying the ticket. If you want to take more than the pre-booked classes, there is a queuing system for the classes (first-come, first-served). There are 2 yoga shalas: Djupet and Langhuset, and 2 parallel classes. Langhuset is smaller.

Information about available class capacity will be posted on the wall at Havet and will also be provided when you pick up your wristband.

Ecstatic Dance is open for everyone who has a weekend or a day pass (whether it is for Saturday or Sunday).

  • We highly recommend exchanging your ticket for a festival wristband in advance. This way, you’ll be ready to join the classes without needing to queue first. You can pick up your festival wristband at Havet during the following times:

    • Thursday, 09.01 (16:00–18:00)

    • Friday, 10.01 (16:00–18:00)

    • Saturday, 11.01 (10:00–12:00)

If you’re unable to collect your wristband beforehand and are only attending on Sunday, wristbands will be available from 08:30 onwards.

Your 2 pre-booked classes per day will be written on your wristband. It will serve as your entrance ticket to the classes you’ve reserved.

  • Doors open at 12:00 on Saturday and 08:30 on Sunday. On Saturday, the ticket/wristband desk will be located in Chambre Separee, by the main entrance to the Havet café/restaurant.

The last session of the festival ends at 17.30 on Sunday and you are welcome to hang in the area or use the saunas until 20.00.

  • You will receive a receipt after booking that shows your classes. You can also check your pre-booked classes when you pick your festival wristband. Your 2 pre-booked classes per day will be written on your wristband. It will serve as your entrance ticket to the classes you’ve reserved.

  • Please bring your own yoga mat and blanket. We recommend dressing in layers, as it’s January and indoor temperatures may vary. For added comfort, you might also want to bring a bolster or meditation cushion.

If you can’t bring your own equipment, don’t worry—we have some mats, blankets, bolsters, and yoga blocks available for borrowing. If you plan to use the sauna on Sunday, please bring a swimsuit, two towels, and slippers.

  • There is no guarded wardrobe at Havet. However, a wardrobe area is available in Chambre Separee near the main café/restaurant. We recommend leaving larger items here, but please note that it’s unguarded, and items are left at your own risk.

Both Djupet and Langhuset have small wardrobe areas where you must hang your belongings & shoes before entering a class. Please do not bring bags into the yoga spaces—only your yoga mat, phone and money (if necessary to have them by your side). We strongly encourage keeping phones off or on silent while inside the yoga spaces (using them during breaks is fine).

Lockers with codes are available in the changing rooms for those using the sauna.

  • It’s crucial that the yoga shalas (Djupet and Langhuset) are emptied between classes. Volunteers will assist with the orderly exit and entry of participants.

Even if you have two consecutive classes in the same room, you’ll need to show your wristband again at the door to re-enter. This process ensures that pre-bookings are honored, and entry follows the “first-come, first-served” principle.

  • You can walk through Solsiden, and it takes about 25-35 minutes from the center to Havet. It is also possible to take buses nro 20 (bus stop Strandveikaia), 71 (bus stop Losgata), or 2 (bus stop Dora).

Parking is not allowed by the side of skuret (the main long building). If you see cars there, they are employees' or dropping off something. Please park (if you must) by Dora or somewhere close by in Lade / Solsiden area.

  • The saunas are warm and available for use from 10.00 on Sunday. This year we will use both ARK & Árdna saunas.

  • Stammen Cafe will prepare a special vegetarian menu selection for the yoga festival, available on Sunday. Havets own restaurant is open from 15.00 on both days, see the MENU. Cafe is open normally and sells hot and cold drinks (special offer for kombucha!).

  • THE FESTIVAL IS ALCOHOL- & DRUG-FREE!

Havet has a restaurant that has normal opening hours on Saturday. Saunas are also open as usual during the weekend. This means that the area is not completely alcohol-free. Our yoga shalas, Djupet and Langhuset, will however be only for yoga festival guests.

  • Pictures will be taken of some classes. This will be announced at the start of the class, and you can always tell the photographer that you do not wish to be in pictures.

Please be mindful when/if taking pictures where someone’s face is recognizable. We recommend putting your phone away during the yoga class in order to focus on the experience.
